Bon appétit and Chag Sameach!
1 loaf of Sourdough bread, sliced thickly widthwise, without cutting the whole way through.
1 wheel of Camembert cheese
½ bunch thyme
Extra virgin olive oil to brush
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius. Grease a large tray and line with baking paper. Cut a circle out of the top of the bread to fit the camembert snuggly (use the bottom of the lid of the container as a guide) and scoop out bread. Brush with olive oil, and slot the camembert inside the hole. Push the thyme leaves in between each cut in the bread. Bake for 20 minutes or until bread is golden and cheese is oozing Serve immediately, tear slices of the bread to dip and scoop out the middle. Enjoy!
